The beginning of the month of May is characterized with heavy showers, like April. Thus, the best time to visit Armenia is from late May to early June. This time of year, the weather is comfortable before the heat sets in, making it an ideal time to explore the country.

Geghard Monastery - Geghard is a medieval monastery in the Kotayk province of Armenia, being partially carved out of the adjacent mountain, surrounded by cliffs. It is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site with enhanced protection status. The spectacular towering cliffs surrounding the monastery are part of the Azat River gorge, and are included together with the monastery in the World Heritage Site listing.


Khor Virab - Khor Virap is an Armenian monastery located in the Ararat plain in Armenia, near the closed border with Turkey, about 8 kilometres south of Artashat, Ararat Province, within the territory of ancient Artaxata. Now, regular church services are held in this church. It is one of the most visited pilgrimage sites in Armenia.


Tatev Monastery - The Tatev Monastery is a 9th-century Armenian Apostolic monastery located on a large basalt plateau near the Tatev village in Syunik Province in southeastern Armenia. It was included in the Guinness World Records as world's "longest non-stop double track cable car."


Cascade Complex - The Cascade is a giant stairway made of limestone in Yerevan, Armenia. It links the downtown Kentron area of Yerevan with the Monument neighborhood. Classical and jazz concerts often take place at the Cascade during spring, summer and early autumn, with spectators sitting on the steps.


Republic Square - Republic Square is the central town square in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. After Armenia's independence Lenin's statue was removed and the square was renamed. It has been described as Yerevan's "architectural highlight" and the city's "most outstanding architectural ensemble".


Noravank Monastery - Noravank is a 13th-century Armenian monastery, located 122 km from Yerevan in a narrow gorge made by the Amaghu River, near the town of Yeghegnadzor, Armenia. The gorge is known for its tall, sheer, brick-red cliffs, directly across from the monastery. The monastery is best known for its two-storey Surb Astvatsatsin church, which grants access to the second floor by way of a narrow stone-made staircase jutting out from the face of building, one of the earliest examples of cantilever architecture.

Explore the "Pink City" of Yerevan by visiting Republic square, the Cascade Complex, the Opera and Ballet Theater, and Northern Avenue. Throughout your tour, you will unveil the beauty of this unique city with a background of the majestic Mount Ararat. Overnight in Yerevan

Day 3 Yerevan

After Breakfast Discover Armenia's fascinating pagan history and learn about the development of Christianity in the country at Garni Temple and Geghard Monastery. Meet locals along the way and visit Lake Sevan, the Blue Pearl of Armenia. Temple of Garni, the only standing Greco-Roman temple in the whole post-Soviet area. Standing on a high plateau overlooking the Azat River gorge, the temple is home to a Roman bathhouse which houses a mosaic, made out of 30,000 pieces of natural stones. It also hosts the ruins of the royal palace, dating back to the 3rd-century. Head to the monastic complex of Geghard. The complex is from medieval times, which was considered to be the Golden Age of the country’s architecture. Check out the impressive church cut right out of solid rock. Drive to the beautiful Lake Sevan surrounded by a vast chain of mountains. Climb a flight of stairs to the Sevan peninsula for an unforgettable panoramic view of the lake and see the 9th-century monastery of Sevanavank. Built by the princess Mariam in honor of her late husband, Sevanavank is also home to one of the most beautiful Amenaprkich Khachkars of Armenia. The City of Tsaghkadzor is a small Olympic town approximately an hour’s drive away from Yerevan. It is also called "Armenian Switzerland", as it is surrounded by dense mountain forests. The name of the city is referred to as “the gorge of flowers” since it is blooming with a variety of beautiful plants Overnight at Yerevan

Day 4 Yerevan

After Breakfast, This day trip takes you to explore one of the most beautiful gorges in Armenia, famous for its beautiful churches standing right on the cliff edge. See Saghmosavank and Hovhanavank and visit the Armenian Alphabet stone statues and Amberd Fortress. On the way, you will stop at the Alley of the Alphabet, where you will be given the chance to find the first letter of your name and snap a picture with it. Armenian is not only a very old language, but it is also an independent branch of the Indo-European languages, making it unlike any other tongue in the world. Overnight in Tbilisi

Day 5 Yerevan - Farewell
