Our team members keep keen attention on your travel to provide a safe journey at the best of our understanding, so that there should not be any misunderstanding between travellers & CHARIS Enterprises Tour Co-ordinator.  We CHARIS, believes in positive attitude and concern at the same times.  We also ensure that our guest’s issues are resolved on priority basis.  At the same time, we would like to request you to follow our below mentioned Terms & Conditions. As mentioned on our Webpage, and the tour registration form, please provide us with your consent, agreement and understanding as a client.  Furthermore, the client and CHARIS requires to agree on the policies and procedures, rules and regulations to visit destinations.  Therefore, please ensure understand and read the Terms & Conditios thoroughly to avoid further mishaps, On Signing the Terms and Conditions and the Booking forms the signatory fully accepts the terms and conditions with CHARIS & himself.  And registers himself / herself / friends / relatives.  To enjoy a hassle-free tour thru our services as a “Guest”.

Description and Commencement: -

1]  These TERMS & Conditions shall be called CHARIS Enterprises – Terms & Conditions (Domestic & International Tours)

2]  Terms and Conditions extend to the whole of Domestic as well International Tours Organized by the CHARIS Enterprises – hereinafter referred by CHARIS Enterprises.

3]  CHARIS Enterprises Terms & Conditions extend to all Domestic and International Tours, Tailored / Customized Packages & also Corporate Tours.

4]  Users, using our Website accept and confirm your agreement to the website’s terms & conditions of usage, and to comply with our terms.

5]   Foreign Exchange: CHARIS Enterprises follow the rules and guidelines as per RBI & GOI. On exchange of currency exchange.

6]  Terms & Conditions shall come in force from 01^st April 2018 & It will remain intact till further Amendments or modifications.

DEFINITIONS: - In these Terms & Conditions, unless the context otherwise requires.

• Catalogue for the respective yearly / Quarterly released / published by CHARIS Enterprises.
• Client’s means all the Guests, travellers, holiday vacationers, visitors, who have registered themselves or enquired about the tour Honeymoon Special / weekend / holiday package, either ways booked our tour by paying advance / full payment for any scheduled / upcoming vacation tours, Tailored / customised packages or any other related travel services provided (Car, Bus etc.), by CHARIS Enterprises  or its divisions.
• Tailored holiday package means a customised tour Itinerary designed as per the individual require.
• Tour Commence Day one starting at any time e.g. Morning / Noon / Evening, depending on the arrival of the respective flight / train / car / bus or any other mode of transportation. As the same applies at the departure day of the tour end. Tour meant as Domestic / International tours arranged by CHARIS Enterprises.
• Independent Contractor / Supplier means supplier / organization of any infrastructural facility which includes hotel managements, Airlines, Insurance, Caterers, restaurants, sightseeing, museums, art galleries, cruise, coach, places of entertainment like theme parks, amusement parks, selected by CHARIS Enterprises, which provide services to Guests.
• Extra Mattress, (For domestic & International tour, extra mattress / bed).  
• Group Tours mean a travel package arranged for any assembly of travellers that has a common itinerary, date of travel and transportation. Group tours are usually prepared which includes transportation, lodging, dining and attraction admissions.
• Corporate tours mean a specialized tour arranged for a group of people booking, planning, conferences, exhibitions, seminars, facilitating meetings, Business official visit, seafarers Marines, and organizing events as per plan.
• Tour price means the tour price mentioned in the Price Grid /Brochures / online and other payments such as taxes (VAT), surcharges etc. which will be payable by the client to CHARIS Enterprises.
• Force Majeure meant an event or circumstance not within the reasonable control, directly or indirectly, of CHARIS Enterprises in its ability to perform its obligations / responsibilities regarding the tour including.

1. War, hostilities invasion, act of foreign enemies,
2. Rebellion, revolution, insurrection or military or usurped power or civil war,
3. Epidemic, explosion, fire, flood, earthquake or another exceptional natural calamity and act of God.
4. Ionizing radiation or contamination by radioactivity from any nuclear fuel, or from any nuclear waste from the combustion of nuclear fuel, radioactive toxic explosive, or other hazardous properties of any explosive nuclear assembly or nuclear component of such assembly,
5. Riot, commotion or disorder,
6. Any act or omission of any Government instrumentality,
7. A change in Legal requirements,
8. Strikes, lock outs or other industrial disturbances;
9. Abnormal weather or sea conditions including tempest, lightning, hurricane, typhoon, rain and temperatures.

• Unforeseen cancellation by contractors like hotel, transport, Airlines, railways, bus services etc.
• Meal Includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, hygiene foiled packed food {dry or wet} supplied. [As decided in advance pre-set Menus].
• Special Jain Food means food without Onion, garlic served at the time of tour groups.  Meals not necessarily root vegetables and provided before sunset and may or may not be served on the Dinning.
• Super Peak Season incudes but is not limited to Summer Vacations, Diwali Vacations, Christmas Holidays, New Year celebration or any other country specific vacations.  It also indicates any particular period which is advertised by the company as a Super Peak Season or which has been conveyed / notified to the guest through travel advisor or indicated on website as Super Peak Season.
• Webpage means, Website which belong to CHARIS Enterprises. https://charisenterprises.in
• Tour Leader / Escort / Assistant by whatever designated by means a Person who is designated by the Organization to Assist / help / guide / lead the guest/s in & or during India and or World Tours Organized by CHARIS Enterprises.
• Tour/s means any Indian tours – also referred as ‘Domestic tours’ organized within the state of India and World Tours – also referred as ‘International Tours’ carried out in any foreign Country Arranged / Organized by CHARIS Enterprises.
• Orientation Tour, A sightseeing tour is accompanied by a local city guide which points out places of interest.  Company may make stops depending upon permission from local authority which may change due to season.
• Terms & Conditions means these terms and conditions and includes Booking criteria, Tour Payment, Booking Form [Bus, Train, Car hire, Tour etc.] Cancellation Policy, Itinerary and other documents as may be notified from time to time.
• Cancellation Policy means and includes all the cancellation charges levied by the company from time to time, third party cancellation charges etc.
• Surcharge means an additional fee, charge or tax that is added on to the tour price, over and above the initially quoted price.  Surcharge can reflect hike in fees charged by Contractor / Supplier / Associates during the Super Peak Season.
• Credit note or Future Tour Voucher means a voucher of a specified value issued by CHARIS Enterprises on tour postponement / cancellation which can be utilized by the guests for booking a future tour organized by CHARIS Enterprises within the specified period or as per the agreed terms.
• Visa means a Certificate issued or a stamp marked (on the applicant’s passport) by the immigration authorities of a country to indicate that the applicant’s credentials have been verified and he / she has been granted permission to enter the country for a temporary stay within a specified period. [Note: The Company is not responsible for Issuance / rejection of Visas other than being a facilitator]
• Visa Cancellation Policy means and includes all the cancellation charges levied by the company from time to time arising out of non-granting delayed in granting of visa by the concerned consulate due to some or the other reason.
• Jurisdiction means the geographical area over which a court or government body has the power and right to exercise authority.  Parties hereto agree to confirm exclusive Jurisdiction to Mumbai Courts / Forums.
• Tour Transfer Charges (TTC) means estimated maximum charges’ that the guests may have to pay at a future date if their booked Tour is being postponed at a future date due to occurrence of certain unavoidable / Force Majeure situations.
• Working Days: These are the days between and including Monday – Friday and do not include public holidays and weekends.
• Each provision term of these Terms & conditions shall be severable and if any provision thereof is declared invalid, illegal or unenforceable, then remaining provisions nevertheless shall have full force & effect
• The masculine gender, shall also include feminine gender and vice versa, the singular shall include plural and vice versa and shall include grammatical variations thereof.

ACTIVITY

CHARIS Enterprises, feels obliged to introduce our talented, ambitious organization that coordinates with our guest/s / clients all the services of the tour, travels.  CHARIS Enterprises takes complete care of all the services Independently, we believe in making our clients / Guest’s travel comfortably on our tour, arranged by CHARIS team members. CHARIS Enterprises arrange complete tour such as booking hotel, finest restaurants, flights, bus coach, and much more on the Event’s Organizer, Although CHARIS Enterprises takes complete care and satisfies our client’s / Guest’s, CHARIS Enterprises shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, death, harm, injury caused in situations held by default, or acts caused by employees or management of concerned agencies or contractors.  We would like our guest’s / client’s who will be booking / registering with us for holiday tour, booking, travel, flights, bus coach, organized by CHARIS Enterprises should read, understand and strictly comply our terms & conditions.  Further more we will always like to update our client’s / guest’s on tour’s, inform them on upcoming events, through Emails / Calls / SMS, or registered mobile no’s. against mode of communication, CHARIS Enterprises take complete care and at the convenience of our guest’s / client’s, to check on Emails, social media, services offered by various sources, we request our guests to keep on checking for updated information on travelling, booking, events.  Howsoever, we also request our guests to visit our official website: https://charisenterprises.in, to check on updates.  On Amended Terms and Conditions and consider it.  As CHARIS Enterprises reserves right to change the Terms & Conditions at any time.

BOOKING:

a, Guest’s signature and agreeing on tour Booking / Registration form: (ACCEPTANCE)

On Booking a tour the Guest signature on the tour Booking / Registration form or payment at the initial registration amount whichever shall mean earlier acceptance by the guest’s confirming the Terms & Conditions contained herein.  Approving by guest’s / friend / family, If there is a group which includes large number of guest’s on ‘Booking / Registration form’, shall be deemed to mean that the guest’s other than signatories have duly authorized the signing guest’s and all the guest’s for whom the Booking / Registration was made shall be deemed to have been bound by the Terms & Conditions contained herein.  Guest’s are request to sign documents or other tour related forms as required, as forms needs to be signed by the concerned guest only, and not by other person signing on behalf of the guest.

b. Guest’s Intend to participate in the tour:

The Guest’s intend to participate in tour’s thru CHARIS Enterprises, needs to do initial registration amount payment, which indicates the guest is interested in participating the tour, which does not entitle himself / herself to any of the services includes travel tickets, visas, hotel booking, or any other service till the payment is done in full and receipt is issued by CHARIS Enterprises on full payment.  

Guest’s Travelling needs special assistance: shall not provide any special service to any specific person who travels in a group tour. A special assistance required by disabled travellers / senior citizens, needs to be informed with valid required documentations during booking, it would be subject to availability and if so, extra cost it would be attached to it.  CHARIS Enterprises shall make a reasonable attempt to accommodate the special needs, we do not commit itself or will be held responsible in any way whatsoever, we would suggest a qualified companion at the entire cost of the disabled / senior citizen guest must accompany the guest who would need such assistance,

CANCELLATION / REFUND:

• If a company propones or postpones a tour, due to any circumstances beyond our control like Natural calamity, political disturbances, security problem, change in air schedule etc. the passenger has no right to cancel the Tour.

• If the company has to cancel the programme for want of sufficient no. of passenger, the entire amount paid by the prospective passengers shall be returned by the company by A/C payee cheque against receipt only.

• Cancellation charges for Air/Rail/Bus reservations are applicable as per the rules and will be refunded to passenger after refund from Respective Airlines / Railway / Bus and after deducting the processing charges.

• Passenger cannot cancel the Tour, in case any specific train class tickets are not available. They will have to travel by the next available train class.

• No refund will be payable, for any unused portion of the tour, due to what so ever reason.

• If the passengers have to cancel the Tour due to any reason, they have to make an application in written that effect along with the original receipt issued by the Company shall process the Refund after applying the scale of cancellation charges.
