The beginning of the month of May is characterized with heavy showers, like April. Thus, the best time to visit Armenia is from late May to early June. This time of year, the weather is comfortable before the heat sets in, making it an ideal time to explore the country.

Geghard Monastery - Geghard is a medieval monastery in the Kotayk province of Armenia, being partially carved out of the adjacent mountain, surrounded by cliffs. It is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site with enhanced protection status. The spectacular towering cliffs surrounding the monastery are part of the Azat River gorge, and are included together with the monastery in the World Heritage Site listing.
Khor Virab - Khor Virap is an Armenian monastery located in the Ararat plain in Armenia, near the closed border with Turkey, about 8 kilometres south of Artashat, Ararat Province, within the territory of ancient Artaxata. Now, regular church services are held in this church. It is one of the most visited pilgrimage sites in Armenia.
Tatev Monastery - The Tatev Monastery is a 9th-century Armenian Apostolic monastery located on a large basalt plateau near the Tatev village in Syunik Province in southeastern Armenia. It was included in the Guinness World Records as world's "longest non-stop double track cable car."
Cascade Complex - The Cascade is a giant stairway made of limestone in Yerevan, Armenia. It links the downtown Kentron area of Yerevan with the Monument neighborhood. Classical and jazz concerts often take place at the Cascade during spring, summer and early autumn, with spectators sitting on the steps.
Republic Square - Republic Square is the central town square in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. After Armenia's independence Lenin's statue was removed and the square was renamed. It has been described as Yerevan's "architectural highlight" and the city's "most outstanding architectural ensemble".
Noravank Monastery - Noravank is a 13th-century Armenian monastery, located 122 km from Yerevan in a narrow gorge made by the Amaghu River, near the town of Yeghegnadzor, Armenia. The gorge is known for its tall, sheer, brick-red cliffs, directly across from the monastery. The monastery is best known for its two-storey Surb Astvatsatsin church, which grants access to the second floor by way of a narrow stone-made staircase jutting out from the face of building, one of the earliest examples of cantilever architecture.
Day 1 - Yerevan
Welcome to Yerevan or sometimes spelled as Erevan is the capital & largest city of Armenia. Yerevan is one of the world’s oldest continually inhabited cities – 29 years older than Rome. Today, Yerevan is a city of one million, with a European ambience, lined with wide boulevards and sidewalk cafes. On arrival at Zvartnots International Airport you will be met by our local representative and transfer to your hotel for Check-In. Rest of the day is free at leisure or you can explore Vernissage Market or stop at Republic Square to enjoy Dancing Fountains. Overnight in Yerevan
Day 2 -
Enjoy sumptuous breakfast at the hotel. We set out for a city tour of Yerevan which includes sightseeing of City center, Republic square, State University, City panorama, Mother Armenia Monument, Parliament, President’s Residence, Opera, Sports & Concert Complex, Genocide memorial. Later we visit Cascade complex, which is considered the modern art center of Yerevan, with art pieces displayed throughout the whole area: the boulevard and up the stairs, from top of which you can enjoy the panoramic view on the city and Mountain Ararat.
Day 3 Yerevan -
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Tsaghkadzor (means “gorge of flowers”) town, the magical place of forested mountains. Short walking tour around the small town. Opportunity to go up to the mountain peaks by rope way, where you will catch an unforgettable gorgeous panoramic view of this part of the world (going up the first level and back). In winter Tsakhkadzor is a well- known ski resort with several levels of ropeways leading up the mountains. In summer it’s a pleasant place to spend the afternoon in nature and enjoy the sun. Visit Kecharis monastery and after on rope way to Teghenis Mountain. Drive to Sevan Lake for panoramic view from Sevanavank monastery. At 480 square miles in size, it is the largest body of water not only in Armenia but also in the entire Caucasus Region. It also is located 6,234 feet above sea level, making it one of the largest high-altitude freshwater lakes in Eurasia. Drive back to Yerevan. Overnight in Yerevan
Day 4 Yerevan -
After enjoying sumptuous breakfast at hotel, we drive to the only remaining pagan temple in Armenia devoted to the God of Sun – Myrth, in Garni, built in 77 AD by King Trdat (Arshakid Dynasty). Photo stop at Charentc Arc. Visit to the ruins of Royal Palace and Royal bath-house nearby. Canyon of Garni -magnificent and outstanding scene which creates the image of falling crags. It obtained the name "Symphony of Stones" due to its view. The fantastic landscape of Garni canyon shakes the human imagination. Drive to the unique caved temple St. Geghard (12th -13th cc.), which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage list (2000). The monastery contains a number of churches and tombs, unique for the fact that many are cut directly into the mountain rock face. Gerhard represents the peak of medieval Armenian architectural achievement and comprises a walled complex set in stunning mountain scenery in the upper Azat Valley in Kotayk Province. . Drop to Dalma Garden or Yerevan Mall for shopping. Overnight in Yerevan.
Day 5 - Yerevan
Breakfast at the hotel. Take the direction to south of Armenia. Drive to Khor Virap monastery. According to legend, St. Gregory the Illuminator was imprisoned here in the basement for 13 years for the dissemination of Christianity. The monastery is facing the biblical mountain Ararat with best and nearest view you can ever see. On the way a brief stop in Areni village for visiting Areni winery and tasting wines from different vineyards. After wine tasting our route continues to Noravank monastery complex, which was constructed in the 13th century on the ledge of narrow winding gorge of the river Amaghu near the city of Yeghegnadzor. Drive back to Yerevan. Overnight in Yerevan.
Day 6 - Farewell
Breakfast at the hotel & Check-Out. Our local representative will transfer you to airport for your flight to onward destination. We hope you enjoyed your time in Armenia.
