DAY 1 ARRIVE LEH

Ladakh might make you feel like you are on another planet Its vivid landscape does seem otherworldly. Arrive at the airport in Leh and you will be met and transferred to your hotel.  This world needs some getting used to Spend the day acclimatizing tomorrow you set out to explore its many contours.

Day 2 IN LEH

The urbanized world can learn a lot from Leh, as you will see when you visit the Shey Palace, the 15th-century summer palace and monastery of Leh’s  Royal family and the 800-year-old gompa at Thiksey Experience the wisdom and serenity of Buddha with your visit to the Hemis Monastery,  and then proceed to be awestruck by the artistry of Ladakhi craftsmen at the Stok Palace Museum in the evening, enjoy a panoramic view of Leh town from Shanti Stupa Night will see you sleeping soundly in this land of wonders.

Day 3 IN LEH * EXCURSION TO ALCHI (65 KMS / APPROX 2 HRS DRIVE)

The banks of the Indus hold the little village of Alchi Head to its monastery and be among the lucky few to see its 1000-year-old wali pantings which exist in a dark room and can be seen under torchlight.  Mysteries will continue to unravel as you visit the Likir Monastery famous for its giant statue of Maitreya Buddha and its numerous old Tank has.  Enjoy a photo stop at the Sangam of India and the Zanskar rivers. The flowing waters are bound to create a perfect portrait. A new world is now yours for keeping.  Spend the night in the magic of Leh.  This is what surreal feels like.

DAY 4 ON TO PANGONG LAKE (160 KMS / APPROX 5 HRS DRIVE)

Dedicate your day to the Pangong and watch it reward you with a rainbow of colors. Cross the Changla Pass at 17500 ft and experience the magical waters of Pangong take over it is one of the largest lakes in the Himalayas and way better than anything on earth.  Spend that night camping by its side and watch the stars uncover new hues for you.

DAY 5 ON TO LEH (120 KMS / APPROX 4 HRS DRIVE)

This new world has been startlingly beautiful, Haven’t you uncovered some new shades of blue? Unwilling though you might be it’s time to leave the crystal clear waters of Pangong and head back to Leh, Spend the rest of the day as you desire.  Explorations will never cease to thrill you in this amazing land New Planets can truly be quite intriguing.

DAY 6 DEPART LEH

Every wanderer needs to get back to base at some point in time. Unfortunately, you too are needed back on earth, This world will await your return.
