Best Time To Travel:

The best time to visit Bhutan is during the springtime i.e from March to May when the weather is pleasant and the valleys become lush green with flowers blooming all over. This is the best time to visit Bhutan for sightseeing and other outdoor activities. October to November is also an ideal time to plan a visit to Bhutan as the days are sunny and you can even find snow at higher elevations. Hence, the best seasons to visit Bhutan are autumn and spring when the temperature is balanced, and the skies are clear.


Summer Season in Bhutan

Monsoon Season in Bhutan

Though, during the months of June to August, there might be mild showers in the afternoon; but the regions of Bhutan do not experience the monsoon season as such, for the rainfall very rarely.

DAY 1:-  ARRIVE PARO * ON TO THIMPHU (65 KMS / APPROX 1.5 HRS DRIVE)

The magic of mountains will welcome you to this Himalayan Kingdom.  Arrive at the airport in Paro where post customs and immigrations, you will be driven to Thimphu, the modern capital town of Bhutan, With an abundance of restaurants, shopping centers, and right clubs.  Thimphu makes for a very exciting town.  Check in to your hotel and spend the night awaiting the unfolding of mysteries galore.

DAY 2:-  IN THIMPHU

Thimphu is the construction of old and new together.   After breakfast, visit the Handicraft Emporium, Bhutanese Traditional Paper Factory. National Memorial Chorten, Buddha Statue, and Centenary Park on the river banks.  Thimpu will unravel Bhutanese culture in all its magnificence today.  Do not forget to pick up some traditional souvenirs at the Handicraft Emporium while you’re at it.

DAY 3:-  ON TO PUNAKHA (77 KMS / APPROX 2.5 HRS DRIVE)

Today you will take one interesting drive to Punakha with stops that open up the Himalayan Range.  the royal Botanical Park and the Chimmi Lhakhang Temple.  The day of serenity natural elegance and worship will come to a close with your visit to royalty.  Visit the most beautiful Dzong, the Punakha Dzong, and spend the night in Punakha enlightened.

DAY 4:-  ON TO PARO (142 KMS / APPROX 4 HRS DRIVE)

Continue the Dzong visits today after breakfast with your drive to Paro and on the way visit the stunning architecture at Paro Dzong Located on the rocky outcrop of the steep hillside overlooking both sides of the valley it is definitely worth a visit Drive back to the town and let noon take you to the old ruins of Drukgyal Dzong, a 17th-century fortress that used to keep invaders from Tibet.  The sunset at Paro will put you into its magical sleep.

DAY 5: - IN PARO

Join in the legend of Padma Sambhava as you drive to the base of the Himalayan sanctum, the world-famous Tiger’s Nest Located i\at a cliff-side this Buddhist sacred site will tell a story of a flying Tiger.  The interior design of the temple impresses with its luxurious beauty, gold-plated dome, and flickering lights that are illuminating golden idols.  In the hall of thousand Buddha’s, which are carved into the rock, witness the large statue of the legendary Tiger.  On your way to town, visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s two oldest and most sacred monasteries which date back to the origin of Buddhism itself. Let nirvana come with the night in Paro.

DAY 6: -  DEPART PARO

The mountains and monasteries have cast their magic, it's time to spread it to some other places now.  Bid farewell to your Bhutan – Himalayan Kingdom tour as you are transferred to the airport in Paro for your onward journey.  Buddha has blessed you abundantly.
