DAY 1 :-   ARRIVE BENGALURU * ON TO MYSORE (143 KMS / APPROX 3 HRS DRIVE)

The face of modern India, Bengaluru will welcome you with a booming city image deep south before you head on to Mysuru (Mysore). On your way visit the rocky island of Srirangapatnam and dive into a past of religion and valour. On arrival at Mysuru, check into your hotel and head out for an evening stroll in the Brindavan Gardens.  You might just catch its musical fountain in action. Spend the right dreaming of the city’s enchanting royal heritage.

DAY 2 :-  IN MYSORE

Mysore is ornate carvings and silk emporiums.  Witness devotion in the form of architecture at the well preserved Hoysala Temple. Look into the regal art and armory at the Mysore Palace.  From the Doll Pavilion to the huge Court and Mariage Hall, the palace is enchanting in every aspect. Later you can go shopping for handicraft, silk and sandalwood at Mysuru to grasp the many images of South India on a street.  With a day of interesting insights, the night will find you in a happy stay.

DAY 3 :-  ON TO BANDIPUR / MUDUMALAI (90 KMS / APPROX 3 HRS DRIVE)

Morning will see you heading to Bandipur National Park / Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary.  Nature has reserved the best of all art.  Check into your hotel and enjoy a jungle safari.  By Jeep / Elephant on direct payment. Tigers, Sloth Bears, Jackals, Wild Boars and many other inhabitants of the jungle will reaffirm the magnificence of the master at work.  Watch them in their natural habit and witness the charms of these living work of art.   Relax at Madumalai after a day in the wild.

DAY 4 :-  ON TO OOTY (84 KMS / APPROX 2 HRS DRIVE)

Today, you drive across the promised tea and coffee plantations to Ooty, the ‘Queen of Hill Stations’ The blue Nilgiris will definitely colour your ride.  Check into your hotel and relax in the wild.

DAY 5 : -  IN OOTY * EXCURSION TO COONOOR (35 KMS / APPROX 1 HR DRIVE)

A tour of the Blue Mountains will take you to Dodabetta Peak for a spectacular view.  Later, drive to Coonoor and visit Sim’s Park and Dolphin’s Nose Point to complete the canvas Noon will see you in search of the fossilized tree trunk at the Botanical Garden.  End the day with a walk along Ooty Lake.  By night.  Ooty will lay out the bed for you.

DAY 6 : -  ON TO COIMBATORE (146 KMS / APPROX 4.5 HRS DRIVE)

The ‘Images of South India’ have painted a great picture.  It’s time to take it with you as you head to Coimbatore airport or railway station for your onward journey.
