The Dambulla Cave Temple – The Largest Temple Complex In Sri Lanka - The most popular among the best places to visit in Sri Lanka is the Dambulla cave temple. The temple complex has five rooms of different sizes; all rooms have Buddha in a different position looking calm and peaceful. The temple can be easily accessed from both Colombo and Kandy.
Yala National Park - Home To A Host Of Wildlife And Birds

Day 1 - Kandy
Welcome & assistance at the Airport & Proceed to Kandy. Enroute to your destination, you can visit one of the most important tourist attractions in Sri Lanka, the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. Volunteers and caretakers provide shelter and take care of orphaned, abandoned and injured elephants within the park. You can watch caretakers feed, bathe and help these gentle giants. You want walk with the herd to the nearby river to watch the elephants bathe and play around in water. Visit to the Gem Museum Sri Lanka produces the finest quality of gems in the world. Semi-precious gems, the sapphires of Sri Lanka, which are very exclusive and comes in shades of blue, red, green, white etc. In the evening witness spectacular dance performance.
Day 2 - Bentota
Breakfast at hotel. En route you will enjoy a boat ride along the Madu River. Later visit Turtle Hatchery is the prime turtle nesting site which was open by the Wild life Protection Society in 1981. Proceed to Galle; During your Sightseeing you will visit the Galle Dutch Fort which is among the most popular sites in Galle where it attracts those who value archaeological reserves and heritage. It is known as the oldest fort in Asia, named as a world heritage by UNESCO. Inside the fort, travelers can find other attractions such as the Dutch Museum, which contains paintings, pictures and furniture of the Dutch Reformed Church. The fort is built on small peninsula that can be easily accessed from the Galle town. It is the best place to visit during an evening as the picturesque scenery of the sunset can be witnessed at its best.
Day 3 - Bentota
Leave early to Mirissa (packed breakfast) Whale and dolphin watching in Mirissa is one of the most exciting water activities you can do in Sri Lanka during your holiday. Mirissa is the best place to start your whale and dolphin watching tour in Sri Lanka. In warm Indian Ocean you can see Blue whales, Bryde´s whales, Sperm whales, Fin whales, sometimes Killer whales, and Common dolphins, Bottlenose dolphins, Spinner dolphins, Risso's dolphins and Striped dolphins. Sometimes you can see turtles and various fish species, for example Bluefin tuna and flying fish.
Day 4 - Colombo
Galle Face Green is a magnificent place to witness a marvelous sun set over Sri Lanka. Many colonial buildings influenced by the Portuguese, Dutch and British exist alongside structures built in Buddhist, Hindu, Islamic, Indian and Contemporary architectural styles. While on your city tour in Colombo you may visit famous places including Galle Face Green, the Viharamahadevi Park, National Museum (Entrance by clients), Twin World Trade Center towers, Old Parliament Building, Fort district, Independence Hall at Independence Square, and prominent Buddhist, Hindu, Islam and Christian places of worship. (Entrance fees to sites not included). For shopping, you may visit Odel, House of Fashion, Beverly Street, Majestic City, Noritake, etc.
Day 5 - Colombo
Enjoy your last morning in Colombo before checking out and being transferred to the airport, where you will depart for your destination with bags full of souvenirs and happy memories.
